Choosing to sponsor a student's high school education is a three year commitment that changes a young person's entire life. It is the most direct and powerful way to support Anansi's mission.
About Sponsoring a Student
The yearly cost of high school in Ghana is $700 USD and includes tuition, room and board, books, most school supplies, and basic health insurance. It is best for Anansi's operations for sponsors to make their payments annually, either at the annual auction in May or in August. However, different payment plans can be made if coordinated ahead of time with Anansi.
Sponsors receive yearly letters from their students and are encouraged to write back. Please contact us if you are interested in sponsoring a student through Anansi.
